MAIUG organised a one-day trip for 20 children from Sanctuary Care Centre as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. The trip was held with the objective of exposing the children to various careers so as to guide them in their future career planning. The team consist of 5 volunteers and 2 guardians from the orphanage. The group arrived at Kidzania with a chartered bus at 10.00am. Each volunteer supervising 3-4 children, they were to dispersed to explore the various Kidzania attractions. The children participated in activities simulating the everyday jobs of firemen, police, doctors and pilots. After lunch at 1.00pm, the children continued moving around the various Kidzania zones. At 3.00pm the children were treated to a magic show held at the Kidzania theatre. At 3.30pm the group was guided by the attending staff out of Kidzania into the waiting area. The group boarded the chartered bus heading back to the orphanage at 4.00pm.
