MAIUG Scholarship

Malaysian Association of Indian University Graduates (MAIUG) is proud to announce the MAIUG Scholarship Programme. This educational scholarship programme is administered and operated by MAIUG Education Committee.

This scholarship will only be for Malaysian citizens to pursue foundation and undergraduates degree courses in the university offered by MAIUG. This scholarship programme is to assist talented and deserving Malaysians students to pursue their studies in the university offered by MAIUG.

Applicants will be assesses on the basis of both merit and need and will also have to meet specific eligibility criteria and requirement for the relevant scholarship offered by MAIUG from time to time. Successful candidate s will be invited for an interview with the MAIUG’s Education Committee.

Scholarship awards selection criteria

The selection criteria will be based on financial needs and academic performance. To ensure that the most deserving student are selected for the scholarship awards, the following attributes will be considered:

• Academic performance

• Financial standing of family

• Character of candidate

• Extra-curricular activities

• Leadership qualities

Eligibility requirements

You have and outstanding academic record and achieved excellent results in your SPM / STPM / Diploma / Foundation or equivalent

Selection Process

A rigorous application review includes analysis of grades, standardized test scores, participation in co-curricular activities, student essays, and family finances.
